The VRG Wine Program

Our restaurants have always been a reflection of Piero Selvaggio’s passion and dedication to discovering, exploring and enjoying great wines from all over the world.  Since the opening of Piero’s first restaurant, Valentino, in 1972, our wine cellars and lists are consistently recognized among the top rated collections in the United States, and encompass a multitude of yet undiscovered up and coming winemakers from Italy, California, France and Spain.

Applauded by Wine Spectator, Bon Appetit, Food Arts, Food & Wine, Gourmet, the Los Angeles Times and the Robb Report, our wine collections at Valentino, Valentino Las Vegas and Giorgio are comprehensive and include both affordable treasures and rare and nearly priceless vintages, appealing to both novice and veteran wine collectors.

We are enormously proud that Valentino has been the recipient of the coveted Wine Spectator Grand Award, the highest award presented for achievement in excellence, every year since 1981, when the magazine’s awards were first granted.  Valentino Las Vegas has been awarded the Wine Spectator Grand Award yearly since the restaurant’s opening in 2002.

Our highly skilled staff welcomes your interest and is ready to assist in guiding you through the ultimate dining experience.  Whether sampling a wine by the glass or bottle, we’ll ensure that your wine selection perfectly matches the quality of the dishes we’ve prepared for you.

Prosecco di Valdobbiadene, Azienda Princepe, Veneto

This is a perfect example of Prosecco with a superb packaging.  It brings scents of apple, pear and toasted bread in the nose and has lingering sensations of fruit and flowers.  Try this with seafood salads and salmon.
